So, just an hour or two short of 2013 - and I haven't even got around to wishing you all a Merry Christmas yet! I hope you and yours had a peaceful and suitably festive time. And if
you happened to unwrap something that suggested your name had come up on the naughty list - well, at least it's better than socks again. Isn't it?
Thanks so much to everyone, whether a regular or occasional visitor, for your support during the last twelve months. And may the new year bring you all the slappiness you deserve!
a vry nice family gathering drawing with a surprise. how ever no one looks surprised so the secret is probably long out. hope your holiday season was great for you as well
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tommy. If our 'hero' doesn't look surprised, then perhaps realisation is only just beginning to dawn. But I think it's safe to say that mother and daughter will have had an earlier discussion about what would be an appropriate present - after all, he did complain last year that she never buys anything useful.
DeleteA brand new piece to start the year off! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Undie!
Thanks, RR. And the same (somewhat belatedly) to you!
DeleteLove the picture.
ReplyDeleteA Happy New Year. Hope the year ahead treats you well.
Love,
Ronnie
xx
Thank you, Ronnie. A couple of weeks in, and so far so good. :) xx
DeleteLove the picture and premise Undie. No doubt the mother is itching to get the kids out of the way so she can try it out. Or perhaps the mother in law would like the first go?
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, Q.
DeleteI'm pretty sure it's been snowing out, so as soon as the rest of the presents have been opened our guy's wife or her mother can take the kids out to build a snowman - maybe followed by a couple of hours of sledging. Rest assured that whichever of them stays behind will have plenty of time to take care of 'business' at her leisure!
You live! Hurrah!
ReplyDeletePoor guy. Maybe he got Rogaine with the hairbrush.
Happy new year!
Hello, Ana. You do seem to confuse me with one of those real bloggers who posts on a regular basis :p. On the other hand, I am sorry not to have been in touch - I will rectify that!
DeleteOh and no matter how much or how little hair our hero has, his new present will still be seeing most action down below.
Excellent illustration! You are so talented...not only technique-wise...but your messages are often subtle, and there is always so much background and detail to enjoy. Especially love the look on his wife's face as she clearly appreciates her Mother's contribution to the household structure.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wallace. I do try to exercise a little restraint (and humour) - however it's probably high time we had some, erm, 'balls-out' full-on spanking action...
DeleteHappy New Year, Underling! May 2013 be a good one. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, K. I hope the new year is also being kind to you so far.
DeletePerfect! Thanks for yet another devious illustration from your devious repertoire! i love it!! Wish some thoughtful relative had given me one for this holiday season. i'm sure my Wife would be very happy to have a good strong old-fashioned hairbrush in the house...at least i hope so!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long wait, but worth it i suppose. Thank you for what you do!! Know that we (that is, people like me) really appreciate your expressions of male submission!!! Your blog is the very best!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, content. If nobody bought you a good, solid hairbrush for Christmas then I guess you could always present your wife with one for her birthday - with the appropriate hints, of course!
DeleteWishing you a happy and healthy new year. This art work is excellent... what a thoughtful mother in law...
ReplyDeletebottoms up
Red
Cheers, Red. I hope you're still taking good care of yourself. Best wishes to you and yours.
DeleteA very Happy New Year to you too Underling! :-)
ReplyDeleteWarm Regards,
