      I'm not quite sure where the gift discrepancy arose - perhaps Santa just thought a poodle would be a more appropriate present - but I love the idea of the rogue autocorrection, since that plagues most of us these days.

      Thanks for the nice words about my drawing and imagination too - I'm afraid there's been far too much of the latter and too little of the former this year, but I'll try to address that in 2015.

      I loved your New Year sentiment too, and also offer it back to you :).

      Thank you, Anon. Those sleeves are definitely rolled up, to show she means business. Mind you, so are the the bottoms of her pyjama trousers - maybe they're just a little big for her, and she thought she might have to take a run-up and didn't want to trip over them.

    Santa's helpers may have misread Annabelle's letter but Annabelle herself is definitely winding up on the "naughty"list, not only for waiting up for him but for what she's about to do. Perhaps Santa will give her a paddle after all (maybe several of them)... ;-)
